The tiles are 9 mm (0. 4 in) thick porcelain stoneware from the manufacturer Winckelmans and withstand between 3200 and 5500 kg per square centimeter. Due to the high density, the tiles absorb minimal water which means they can also be installed outdoors as there is no risk of frost damage. An exceptionally fine tile floor in true "Victorian floor tile" style.
