The original dates from 25 to 75 AD and was crafted from copper alloy, whilst the galeae of that period were already constructed from iron. This reproduction is crafted from brass. It is delivered including a cotton arming cap to wear beneath the helmet and is well suited to a head circumference up to 61 cm.
