Widespread from about 1932. The fruits are medium to large and somewhat flat. The basic color of the apples is green, the top color is carmine red which sometimes covers the whole apple. A very aromatic and juicy sweet and sour apple, incredibly tasty. Also a good eating apple. The tree has medium vigorous growth. Tough against scab, rust and mould.
