It is a weed smothering, fast growing ground cover. Yankee Point has powder blue flowers that bloom winter through spring. It is tolerant of hot interior locations as long as some shade and irrigation are provided. This shrub was originally found at Yankee Point in Monterey County. Pinch and lightly prune in spring after flowering. You can
