Domaine Daniel Bouland Morgon Délys Vignes de 1926 2024 mercurey-1er-cru Made without a heavy handThe wine comes from a single hectare on the Morgon Chiroubles border at the foot of the Corcelette valley, in a historically recognised terroir known as Dlys. The southeast facing slope is planted at a density of 10,000 vines per hectare, and the vines themselves have now reached 100 years of age, gnarled, low yielding, and deeply rooted. Bouland considers this his most age worthy wine, and the 2024 vintage affirms that reputation convincingly. The
